God loved and protected Hagar even in the midst of Sarah and Abraham's sin of distrusting Him and being foolish. You did a great job of nailing out all the things we do to cut away God's grace when we try to sever ourselves too harshly from the flesh. It becomes works-based and without faith. My dad and I talked a lot about the works-based mentality of the church this weekend so it's funny this post came to your mind as well hehe. It's sad the futility we go through to earn grace, it's so dumb, yet we all do it at one point or another. Grace is a gift, it's already there and nothing we do or don't do can push it away,. If only we could accept this then maybe we'd have some unity in the Body haha. Anyway, good stuff! Alexis P. I continue to travel along a similar journey myself and to wrestle with the same questions. Grace is so difficult to come to terms with. Thank you for sharing your heart- it's very encouraging.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11679341093302880387noreply@blogger.com
